We’ve been saying it over and over again, but October is a crazy month for live music. Between the almost daily show previews, reviews, announcements, and ticket giveaways, we hope you’ve discovered some great new bands to check out, or have had the chance to re-visit some old favorites. As hectic as it’s been around here, we understand if you can’t keep up with every single post. That’s why we’ve recapped everything that we covered last week in one convenient place for you:

  • SHOW: EDM artist Skrillex and more played two nights at War Memorial Auditorium.
  • SHOW: Spirits and The Melchizedek Children performed at New Faces Night at The Basement.
  • SHOW: Broken Bells performed their first Nashville show at The Ryman with Hamilton Leithauser!
  • STREAM: Foxygen debuted their new LP, …And Star Power, ahead of a show at Exit/In.
  • VIDEO: Mikky Ekko premiered a new video for “Smile.”
  • VIDEO: Lily & the Parlour Tricks performed for DCXV’s latest “Shop Session.”
  • VIDEO: Local trio TWICEYOUNG premiered a video for their new single “Uncover.”
