Local singer-songwriter/producer turned Rihanna cohort and Grammy performer Mikky Ekko has long been working on his full-length debut, and, although we still don’t have a release date announcement, things seem to be inching ever closer, with the brand new premiere of a music video for the singer’s most recent buzzworthy hit, “Smile.” If you didn’t catch Ekko last week at Red Bull Sound Select’s $3 showcase, you certainly missed out, but, hopefully this sweeping, cinematic new vid will help cheer you up (insert cheesy “Smile” joke here).
