We’ve spoken quite a bit about Nashville-raised pop megastar Miley Cyrus in the past, defending her talent and perspective, despite her somewhat-questionable musical turn with EDM-tastistic latest album, Bangerz. And, whether you’re a Miley fan or not, it’s moments when she does things like team up with The Flaming Lips to cover The Beatles, or, in the latest instance, randomly release a raw, lofi cover of Led Zeppelin’s classic “Babe I’m Gonna Leave You” (which she’s inexplicably titled “Baby, I’m Gonna Leave You”), free of the overproduced and augmented sound she’s become known for, that really showcase her potential. Say what you want, but homegirl’s got some pipes, so crank up the volume, hit play, and prepare to be pleasantly surprised!
