As we told you earlier this summer, The Strokes’ Julian Casablancas is back with a brand new side project, Julian Casablancas+The Voidz (not to be confused with the singer’s solo endeavors from a few years back), and, in addition to announcing their debut album, Tyranny, slated for a Sept. 24 release via Cult Records (pre-order here for cheap), the group announced a tour, which will hit Marathon Music Works on Oct. 21. Tickets are still available here, and, now, we have a better idea of what we can expect from The Voidz. The band have just premiered their first single, “Human Sadness,” an epic, experimental, and electronic-infused 11-minute romp, which has certainly piqued our interest. Listen below.
