The Americana Music Association just released the schedule for the 2014 Americana Music Festival, which is coming to Nashville in just a few weeks. You can find the full schedule here. Festivities begin trickling in on Tuesday, September 16, but they get serious on Wednesday with the 13th Annual Honors & Awards Show and open up into a deluge of great performances all over town that night and continue throughout the weekend.
Some new additions to the lineup since the initial partial lineup announcement and subsequent expanded lineup announcement are Aaron Lee Tasjan, BR5-49, Holly Williams, Joe Fletcher & the Wrong Reasons, Luther Dickinson, Michaela Anne, Paul Burch, Sharde Thomas and the Rising Star Fife & Drum Band. We are very excited to be covering the festival, including the Honors & Awards Show, this year, and we hope you all can join us. Wristbands are still available for $50, and badges are available for a bit more. Tickets to the festival’s culmination, The Avett Brothers’ show at Riverfront Park, are still available and can be included at a small discount with your purchase of a wristband.
