Cory Bishop’s parents were brought together by a love of Bob Dylan, and that love was passed down through the years to the artist, who lists not just Dylan as an influence but also Neil Young, Tom Petty and Ryan Adams. Tonight, Cory Bishop is bringing together the style of all of his musical inspirations mixed with his own unique talent to The Basement for an EP release show with Stacy Lantz. The show kicks off at 9PM for just $5. To find out more about the lineup, click the link below.

CORY BISHOP

We first introduced Cory Bishop to you back in January of 2012 during which he was compared to Conor Oberst and Josh Ritter, but this guitarist has a sound all his own. Nashville has a special place in this rocker’s heart as it was a photo of Bob Dylan in front of the Nashville skyline that first ignited the flame between Cory Bishop’s parents. That musical flame has carried on through the generations, and now Cory Bishop is doing an exclusive EP release show here in Nashville tonight. With an artist as passionate as this one, you can certainly expect to be wowed by the raw talent of Cory Bishop. Here’s a taste of what you’ll hear live:

STACY LANTZ

Also promoting a new album, Ready This Time, Stacy Lantz is a folk/alternative songwriter who is proud to call Nashville her home. Originally from Indiana, she moved to Nashville to pursue her dreams of music stardom. Working her way from occasional background vocalist up to an artist in her own right, Stacy Lantz is here to prove that she deserves stage time as much as anyone else.

Cory Bishop and Stacy Lantz will perform on May 28 at The Basement. The show is 21+, begins at 9PM (doors at 8PM), and tickets are available for $5 at the door.
