Record Store Day is upon us. The annual (er, bi-annual, if you count RSD Black Friday) event takes place tomorrow, April 19, and it’s primed to be another great year. Like anything music-related, Nashville goes all-out for the independent store celebration and, in addition to the many great (and free) performances happening around town, which we already told you about, we wanted to point you to some local and local(ish) releases to keep an eye out for. We’re almost certainly missing a few and, keep in mind, for every official RSD-sponsered release, there’s a band or two getting in on the fun on their own at the local level, so keep an eye on on your favorite artists’ sites for the scoop on special releases, sales, and more. We’ve also got a list of locations for you. If you’re new to Record Store Day, bear in mind that not every release will be available in every shop, so choose wisely! Head here for the FULL list of 2014 RSD releases.
