The Wood Brothers are returning to 3rd & Lindsley for two shows this weekend. The bad news is that Saturday’s show is already sold out. The good news is that, as of this post going live, there are still tickets available for Friday. They will be joined on Friday night by Brigitte DeMeyer, a soulful, bluesy singer/songwriter, and on Saturday by Angel Snow, a singer/songwriter with a little more country flavor.

Read on after the jump for more info and some killer videos.

The Wood Brothers

If you haven’t heard the Wood Brothers yet, you HAVE to check out the video below. The harmony vocals, groovy guitar licks, funky bass lines, shuitar, insanely catchy hooks, and superb songwriting are guaranteed to pull you in at the first song. Brothers, Oliver and Chris, together with multi-instrumentalist, Jano Rix, have a very magnetic sound that is familiar enough to make you comfortable, unique enough to perk up your ears, and dynamic enough to keep you on the edge of your seat. Plus, we just found out that Gabe Dixon will be joining the Wood Brothers as a special guest on stage for at least a few songs on Friday, followed by special guests the McCrary Sisters on Saturday.

Brigitte DeMeyer

Brigitte DeMeyer, Friday’s opener, is a California native who relocated to Nashville a few years back. Keep an eye out for her new album, Savannah Road, to be released at the end of April.

Angel Snow

Angel Snow, Saturday’s opener, has been making waves throughout Nashville, whether writing songs for Allison Krauss, collaborating with Allison’s brother, Viktor Krauss, or wowing crowds at shows like Music City Roots. If you were lucky enough to score tickets on Saturday, you are in for a treat.

The Wood Brothers and Brigitte DeMeyer will perform March 7th at 3rd & Lindsley.
Then The Wood Brothers and Angel Snow will perform March 8th at 3rd & Lindsley. The show is all ages, begins at 8pm (doors at 6pm), and tickets are available for $10.
