At this point we sound like a broken record, but we’ll say it again: 2014 is the year of Wild Cub. Fresh off a U.S. tour, the boys have released a brand new music video for “Thunder Clatter,” the lead single from their newly expanded and re/wide-released debut, Youth (watch it below). In recent months, Wild Cub have earned nods from the likes of MTV and Alt Nation, were added to a string of shows with Vampire Weekend, and, in January, made their network television debut on Fallon. Along with the video release, the Nashville indie rockers have unleashed another big announcement: they’ll be performing on Conan April 10. If this is only February, we can’t wait to see what they’ve accomplished by December!
Additionally, we already told you about Wild Cub’s performance this weekend, Sunday, March 2, at 3rd and Lindsley (better grab a ticket before it sells out), but now you have another chance to catch them in town. The group will be stopping by Grimey’s before the show for a free, 5 p.m. in-store. Catch ’em in small(ish) venues while you can, because, at this rate, Wild Cub will be headlining rooms like The Ryman in no time!
