The Flaming Lips, Ben Folds Plan Superjam for Next Week’s Bonnaroo Lineup Announcement Megathon | Watch Party @ Grimey’s!

As we told you last month, the Bonnaroo Lineup Announcement Megathon (or B.L.A.M.), where the fest will unveil its summer lineup, is set to go down next Wednesday, Feb. 19! Since then, some more details about the event have come to light, including a local opportunity for you to watch live with some fellow Roovians, so we wanted to fill you in on the specifics!

This year’s B.L.A.M. will begin at 8 p.m. CST, with a special pre-show taking place from 6-8 p.m. The hosts will be Saturday Night Live‘s Taran Killam and comedian Hannibal Buress, and, get this, it will feature a superjam from The Flaming Lips and Ben Folds, along with special guests – which means it’s safe to assume we’ll be seeing all of those performers at ‘Roo.

How can I watch, you ask? Well, you have three ways, and one’s extra cool: Bonnaroo.com, the Bonnaroo app on your Xbox, or right here in Nashville, at one of Bonnaroo’s officially hosted watch parties, which will take place at Grimey’s. The watch party will not only be a great way to mingle with some like-minded festival goers, but also will include tons of free schwag, discounts on music from 2014 Bonnaroo artists, and even a chance to win tickets to this year’s fest! Not bad, right? These next four months will practically fly by!
