Music On TV

Late night programming is back in full swing, so welcome to Music on Television, a roundup of the best live performances each week on TV. Not only are we saving you time by wading through everything for you, but we also hope to help you discover some great up and coming bands, many of which will be passing through Nashville in the near future!

Don’t forget, we’re also adding tour dates and ticket links for the artists performing in town and in surrounding areas, so get those DVRs set for:

MONDAY | 1.27

DON’T MISS: ARCTIC MONKEYS
on Late Show with David Letterman
[CBS; 11:35PM/10:35c
]

In what is a pretty stacked Monday, English indie rockers (and likely 2014 Bonnaroo performers) Arctic Monkeys return to Letterman in support of their underrated 2013 release AM. Our close-call bonus picks include Brooklyn country act The Lone Bellow, LA poppers (and soon to be Katy Perry’s tour openers) Capital Cities, and young Irish up and comers The Strypes. Can’t go wrong!

Bonus: The Lone Bellow
Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson | CBS; 12:35AM/11:35c
[Live | 5.9.14-5.11.14 | Shaky Knees Festival, Atlanta | Info]

Bonus: Capital Cities
Last Call with Carson Daly | NBC; 1:35AM/12:35c
[Live | 6.27.14 | Bridgestone Arena, Nashville | Info]

Bonus: The Strypes
Conan
 | TBS; 11PM/10
[Live | 3.10.14 | The High Watt, Nashville | Info]
