How do you celebrate the holidays during a time of such tragedy as what happened to the Philipinnes? Well, you get into the spirit of giving, and head out to a charitable event to support others. That’s why we would be remiss not to tell you about the fundraiser to help aid to Filipino tsunami victims tonight at Marathon Music Works.
In traditional Nashville style, this is going to happen in a once in a lifetime type event. Tonight at Marathon Music Works there will be a holiday craft market starting at 5pm, and starting at 7pm there will be musical performances by Trent Dabbs, ABC’s Nashville star Sam Palladio, Stephen Simmons, Grammy nominated song writer Jay Knowles, Jillian Edwards, Peter Bradley Adams, Mayday Malone, The Great Affairs, Matt Walberg and The Living Situation and other special guests.
The suggested donation is $10-20 after 7pm. 100% of the funds raised through the concert and silent auction and 15% of sales from the holiday market will go directly to the International Relief Teams organization. You can sneak into the holiday market before for free, but, really, you should just go ahead and pony up the money no matter what time you walk in the door. Do some good tonight!
