As we already told you, acclaimed rapper Kanye West is bringing his Yeezus Tour to Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena next week, Nov. 27, with special guest Kendrick Lamar. Fortunately for us, Nashville, which was a late add-on date, was unaffected by some the tour’s earlier technical difficulties. Now that West has been on the road intermittently for nearly a month, we have a pretty good idea of what we can expect on Wednesday, and, in a word, it’s epic. With tickets still available and starting at just $39.50, this pre-Thanksgiving event (literally, a Kanye West concert isn’t just a show, it’s an event) is not only our most-anticipated hip hop concert of the fall, but also one of the most exciting arena shows to grace Nashville all year.

We’re so excited about Yeezus, in fact, that we’ve decided to run a special TICKET GIVEAWAY!! Keep reading to find out how you can enter for a chance to snag a pair!

KANYE WEST

With his latest release, Yeezus, Kanye changed the game once again, providing a raw, off the cuff, visceral, deconstructionist foil to his last, polished and production heavy full-length, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. In between the two, ‘Ye took part in Watch the Throne with Jay-Z, and the Cruel Summer compilation from his own G.O.O.D. music. West hasn’t embarked on a solo tour since before any of those releases (his last trek was the Glow in the Dark tour, in support of 2007’s Graduation, and later encompassing the release of 808s & Heartbreak), so you can expect to see a TON of material never previously performed live. Consciously aware and involved in every aspect of his creative output, Kanye’s stage show is more than just a musical experience, it’s a broader piece of performance art, and it’s unlike anything else.

KENDRICK LAMAR

Though critics have been touting it from the start, the general public have finally started to catch on to one undeniable fact: Kendrick Lamar is the best new rapper in the game (especially in the technical sense). Last year’s good kid, m.A.A.d city, was not just one of the 2012’s best hip hop records, but best records period. Lamar’s been through Nashville a few times over the past year, in several different settings, and has brought the house down time and time again. We’ll be telling you more about him before Tuesday!
