Wooden Indian Burial Ground

Nashville, are you ready to get weird? As in psych out, drugged-surf waves, and you need a simple excuse to catch some of the best grunge enthused bands that Nashville has to offer this week? Check out Wooden Indian Burial Ground, Gunther Doug, and Megajoos at The Stone Fox tonight at 9 p.m. (18+) for only $5. Need more of an excuse, let us break it down for you.

Wooden Indian Burial Ground

Wooden Indian Burial Ground infuses drugged-surf grunge with tripped out guitar sounds. We’ve heard they are known to “rock your socks off.” From listening to their new EP, we do not doubt they will deliver at The Stone Fox.

Gunther Doug

Gunther Doug sprang onto our radar over the summer, recently won OurVinyl.tv’s October Contest, and just released their debut self-titled EP. These fellas will be hitting the road in December, which creates yet another perfect excuse to join them tonight. Gunther Doug conjures up in-your-face energy which begs the whole room to get rowdy and move along.

Mejajoos

This two-piece band sings about Dominos, Paris Hilton, and the infamous topic – sex. Their sound is rough and full of distorted bass. We are pretty sure that Megajoos on the lineup might just make this Tuesday show a perfect way to start the week.

Wooden Indian Burial Ground, Gunther Doug, and Megajoos will perform tonight at The Stone Fox. The show is 18+, begins at 9pm, and tickets are available for $5 at the door.
