Moon Taxi

Local rockers Moon Taxi, who headlined the final installment of this season’s Live on the Green, have made countless festival appearances over the past few months, and have been seemingly gaining more and more buzz by the day (seriously, what an insane year they’ve had), just released a brand new, “Fan Appreciation Video” for their single “The New Black” via MTVU. Unlike the previous, conventional video for the track, the MTVU version is made up of live footage from many of the band’s aforementioned shows, including Live on the Green. It’s abundantly clear that Moon Taxi are poised to be the next, big Nashville breakout rock band and, with the solid new Mountains Beaches Cities under their belt, they couldn’t be more deserving.

Interested in even more of a Moon Taxi fix? The group will performing Dec. 31 at Marathon Music Works, adding yet another, diverse option to your New Year’s Eve choices, which also include Old Crow Medicine Show at The Ryman, Diarrhea Planet, The Protomen, and more at Exit/In, and Bassnectar at Bridgestone Arena. If Moon Taxi sounds like the show for you, you can grab your tickets here now for just $25.

After the jump, check out the new video for “The New Black!”
