If it feels like folk/indie/performance art act Lord Huron were just in Nashville, it’s because they were- over the weekend at 3rd and Lindsley. And, not long before that, they performed at The Ryman, opening for alt-j. The group, a musical vehicle for singer-songwriter Ben Schneider and our former Bonnaroo Band of the Day, have certainly come a long way since their performance for a tiny crowd last fall at The High Watt. In fact, this time around, they’re skipping Mercy Lounge and graduating straight to The Cannery Ballroom for a headlining date on Feb. 13. Tickets go on presale tomorrow, Oct. 17, at 10 a.m. right here (use the password “HURON”), while the general on sale begins Friday, Oct. 18 at 10 a.m. Despite The Cannery’s size, Lord Huron’s 3rd and Lindsley show managed to sell out astonishingly fast, so don’t hesitate on this one!
Support has yet to be announced, but we’ll be sure to bring you more details closer to the show!
