We recently caught up with Nashville electro-rock outfit Wild Cub in Chicago, where they performed at this year’s Lollapalooza festival. That feature is coming soon but, for now, we wanted to share with you their brand new video for “Blacktide,” which just premiered over at SPIN. The track, which was released last month, is a bit moodier and more melancholy than much of the brighter, danicer material on their debut album- last year’s Youth. We’ve said it time and time again, but Wild Cub are one of our favorite Nashville bands. They’re dynamic, substantive, and command a really incredible knack for blending diverse influences and penning dense, enthralling compositions.
