What’s that, you say? You have a case of the Monday blues? Well we’ve got just cure: an emo (like, realĀ emo)/indie punk show! 5 bands, 5 bones, all ages, The Owl Farm, TONIGHT. If you haven’t immersed yourself in Nashville’s thriving DIY punk scene yet, it’s about time you got on board! For the uninitiated, The Owl Farm is at 811 Dickerson Pike, and it’s THE place to catch some of the best underground touring (and local) acts nearly every night of the week. After the jump, we’ve got a rundown on this evening’s bill. Things should be kicking off around 8 p.m.!

Brave Bird

Mathy, indie, emo punks from Michigan.

Double Rainbow

Shoegazey, folky, experimental indie rock from Richmond, VA.

Topbunk

Atlanta throwback emo two-piece, with post-hardcore and mathy tendencies.

Free Throw

Nashville emo revivalists.

Cigarette Smoke

Mathy, emo rock from Bowling Green.

Brave Bird, Double Rainbow, Topbunk, Free Throw, Cigarette Smoke perform TONIGHT at The Owl Farm. The show is all ages, starts at 8PM, and costs $5. It’s a DIY show, so please respect the space, and buy some merch from the bands if you like what you hear.
