We have a last minute ticket giveaway for a great show tomorrow evening! Tesla Rossa will be releasing their new 7″ for “Wishes,” along with an accompanying music video. The video will premiere tomorrow morning on this site, so stay posted!

In celebration of the release, the band are performing at The Basement. Joining them will be fellow Nashville group The Young International, along with Bowling Green-based Buffalo Rodeo. After the jump, we’ve got more information and music from all three acts, along with instructions on how you can snag a pair of free tickets to the show!

We previously raved about Tesla Rossa‘s performance at the winter session of East Nashville Undergound, calling their sound “kind of an understated indie rock, really grounded in borader rock and roll sensibility… they’re really a band’s band, crafting songs for quality rather than popularity.” They were a live force to be reckoned with, and a band we’re really eager to catch once again.

“Wishes” marks the group’s first proper release, and will kick off a series of singles to debut throughout the summer, proceeded by an album. The track will be available on limited edition, clear 7″ vinyl (at the show, at Grimey’s and online) as well as digital outlets. “Wishes” was co-produced by Vance Powell (Jack White, Buddy Guy) and recorded at  Nashville’s Sputnik Sound.

Check out a teaser for “Wishes,” ahead of the full release of both the track and video tomorrow:

Unless you’re just joining us, you know we’re big fans of The Young International around these parts. The local 4-piece channel a lush, layered, melodic intensity and profound emotional resonance with their indie/alt-rock sound. They’re fantastic performers, balancing catchy hooks with complex orchestration and technical prowess. Check out their Radiohead-esque latest single, “More of the Same,” below:

Landing somewhere in between Tesla Rossa and The Young International in sound, Kentucky proggy indie rockers Buffalo Rodeo are a great addition to the lineup. Balancing technical skill, complex songwriting, and an ear for huge, melodic hooks, the band is really unique and captivating, and a group we’re really looking forward to seeing live.
