We’re incredibly excited to have so many new writers and photographers recently added to the mix. You’ll notice, as they settle in, that we’re already able to review many more shows than before. We love bringing you news and previews, and we’ll keep that up as well, but bringing you more unique and long-form content has been a goal for awhile!

This week brought some exciting band reunion news, tons of great shows around town, an announcement of big party that we’re throwing, and even more Bonnaroo content. In case you missed anything, here’s the rundown of everything we covered last week on the site:

  • NEWS: We announced that our two-year anniversary party is taking place on 5/25, and will include many of your favorite artists performing Beck’s Song Reader!
  • NEWS: Tons of great shows, including Jimmy Eat World, The Monkees, Neutral Milk Hotel, Marilyn Manson, and Bonnaroo day passes went onsale over the weekend.
  • NEWS: Three Nashville artists were finalists in an MTV contest to play Hangout Fest.
  • NEWS: Indie legends Neutral Milk Hotel announced shows together for the first time since the late ’90s.
  • FEATURE: This Weekend in Nashville: We highlighted our picks for the best weekend shows and events around town.
  • FEATURE: Kickstarter of the Week: Buffalo Clover
  • FEATURE: Music on Television: We brought you our picks for the best artists performing on television.
  • REVIEW: We reviewed My Morning Jacket frontman Jim James‘ recent solo show at Cannery Ballroom [w/ PHOTOS].
  • REVIEW: We checked out Black Rebel Motorcycle Club at Cannery Ballroom [w/ PHOTOS].
  • REVIEW: We caught surf rock legend Dick Dale‘s stop at Mercy Lounge [w/ PHOTOS].
  • REVIEW: We reviewed Vintage Trouble‘s performance at Mercy Lounge [w/ PHOTOS].
  • REVIEW: We reviewed a great house show, featuring The JAG, Beef Oven, and Kinship.
  • INTERVIEW: We sat down with James Wallace of James Wallace & The Naked Light.
  • BONNAROO: Band of the Day: Club Stages Edition, Part 4
  • BONNAROO: Band of the Day: Club Stages Edition, Part 3
  • BONNAROO: Band of the Day: Club Stages Edition, Part 2
  • BONNAROO: Band of the Day: Club Stages Edition, Part 1
  • SHOW: Yacht Rock Revival brought their Yacht Rock Revue with some special guests to all three stages at Mercy Lounge and we gave away tickets.
  • SHOW: We rounded up a great Thursday night of shows: COIN, Deep Sea Diver, and Night Beats.
  • SHOW: Communion Nashville showcased Tumbleweed Wanderers, Escondido, The Lonely Wild, Swear and Shake, and Torres.
  • SHOW: Youth Lagoon played at Mercy Lounge with Majical Cloudz and we gave away tickets.
  • SHOW: We rounded up a great Wednesday night of shows: Rush, Jimmie Deeghan, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, and Cusses.
  • SHOW: The Men, Diarrhea Planet, and Organs played at The Stone Fox.
  • RELEASE: The Kingston Springs dropped a new single called “Secret Game.”
  • FUN: Hump Day Diversion: Tweedy Bird
