Bonnaroo-2013

UPDATE: We caught the lineup change in the middle of Bonnaroo’s update, so when we announced this morning, we only had the club stage bands. We’ve updated to include a handful of main stage additions as well.

Good news for Bonnaroo fans, but bad news for our Bonnaroo Band of the Day feature (which is probably going to stay doubled up from now until ‘Roo): the next wave of Bonnaroo bands has been announced!

As is typical of Bonnaroo, they’ve beefed up the undercard, with all most new additions presumably set to appear on the small stages. Additionally, a handful of new main stage bands have been announced as well, including Empire the Sun, Solange, and The Polyphonic Spree.

Still, at No Country we’re typically as excited for the small bands as the headliners, and this announcement brings an exciting crop of new bands! In addition to previous Road to Bonnaroo winners Alanna Royale and Ranch Ghost, additional Nashville residents such as William Tyler, SIMO, Jonny Fritz, and more have been added to the bill!

Curiously, latest Road to Bonnaroo winner Ri¢hie is still absent (Ri¢hie has since been added), leading me to believe that another announcement is in the works for the near future (I’d still count on a few more additions). After the jump, check out a list of the new bands. Nashville artists are in bold.
