You may remember Matt from a good amount of local radio play for his song “Cold December.” Give it a refresher after the jump and get all the contest info, too!

Matt’s got a lovely and lush new self-titled record out now that he made with members of Belle and Sebastian (Stevie Jackson, Chris Geddes, and Bobby Kildea) that is an array of truly stunning orchestral-pop with thrilling dynamics. You can stream it here to begin your appreciation in anticipation of the show.
