Last week is a bit of a blur. We blame East Nashville Underground (which was a blast- congrats to them for selling out both nights!). In case you missed anything, here’s a recap of everything we covered on the site:

  • NEWS: Tyler, the Creator announced the release date for his new album and dropped a music video for its first single.
  • NEWS: Patrick Carney of The Black Keys was pitted against Justin Bieber by TMZ, after a post-Grammys interview comment.
  • NEWS: Bonnaroo‘s lineup will be announced LIVE online, Tuesday, February 19 by “Weird Al” Yankovic.
  • NEWS: Lightning 100 is sponsoring another Music City Mayhem competition.
  • FEATURE: This Weekend in Nashville: We highlighted our picks for the best weekend shows and events around town.
  • FEATURE: Music on Television: We brought you our picks for the best artists playing on television.
  • REVIEW: Shovels & Rope @ Mercy Lounge | 2.7.13
  • BONNAROO: We think the answer to Bonnaroo’s 14th (and final) Roo Clue is The xx.
  • BONNAROO: We think the answer to Bonnaroo’s 13th Roo Clue is The Sheepdogs.
  • BONNAROO: We think the answer to Bonnaroo’s 12th Roo Clue is either Van Morrison or Machine Gun Kelly.
  • SHOW: The Winter edition of East Nashville Underground took place over three sessions: Friday Night, Saturday Afternoon, and Saturday Night at The East Room. 
  • SHOW: Black Francis of the Pixies performed a solo Valentine’s Day show at Mercy Lounge.
  • SHOW: Torres played a free in-store performance at Grimey’s.
  • SHOW: The Vans Warped Tour sponsored Acoustic Basement Tour stopped at The End.
  • SHOW: A great East Nashville Underground alumni themed 8 Off 8th took place at The High Watt.
  • RELEASE: The Kingston Springs released a session on Daytrotter.
  • VIDEO: Justin Timberlake released a David Fincher-directed music video for “Suit & Tie.”
  • VIDEO: Paramore released the official music video for their new single “Now.”
  • CONTEST: We’re giving away a pair of tickets to Ben Rector‘s upcoming show at The Cannery Ballroom.
