Prince Debuts New Single | Could He Be Prepping for a Bonnaroo Performance?

How does this fly so far under the radar?  Unlike the David Bowie announcement a couple of weeks ago, the new Prince track “Screwdriver” has barely any press behind it.  It certainly doesn’t mean that the new track isn’t full on Prince awesome though.  This is the first new music he’s released since his aptly named LP 20Ten, and if this is a sneak peek of another release, it would be his 34th LP, and would only increase his 100 million records sold pocketbook (and I feel like Prince really probably does carry a pocketbook).  He also apparently has itchy ears that he has to scratch when has his picture taken.

The best thing that this could mean is that the little Minnesotan could make his first appearance this summer at Bonnaroo. You can check our Bonnaroo Rumors post to see how we predicted/wished for this during our first run through the rumor mill.  Check out the new track below, and keep your fingers crossed.
