This weekend is action-packed like The Adventures of Buckaroo Bonzai. This movie obviously implies many different adventures, or musical experiences if you will. Observe:

Friday

The two-day festival With Your Friends kicks off tonight and also runs on Saturday. It boasts a stellar lineup with Skrillex, Pretty Lights, Nas, Santigold, 12th Planet, Dillon Francis, Michael Menert, Tokimonsta, Eliot Lipp, and Two Fresh.  Find more info here.

The Zombies Unite! Second Annual Undead Underground Party is going down in East Nashville at 615 Design with live performance from Girls & Money and Scale Model as well as DJ dance jams spun by Burgers and Sex Gravy. Get more info here.

You’ve got Seasick Steve with Promised Land at Third Man Records.

Also, Commodore Quake w/ J. Cole & Childish Gambino are playing at Memorial Gymnasium

Saturday

If you want some early afternoon music, Ashley Cleveland, The Vespers, April Rucker, and Vitek, Zach Broocke (acoustic), Saulpaul (acoustic), and Lulu Mae (acoustic) are playing at Centennial Park starting around 3 pm.

Kelley Ryan plays at LeQuire Gallery at 6 pm for some early evening entertainment.

The Jezabels and Yukon Blonde play the High Watt, doors at 9. Check out The Jezabels song “Endless Summer” here:

I’m extremely excited that Tomahawk is playing with Pujol at Exit In. Doors at 8. I hope you have a ticket if you want to go, cause this one is Sold Out.

Sunday

Even if don’t believe in him, the Lord did say this was supposed to be a day of rest. So go see some live music on Friday and Saturday and then get some rest.
