It’s one of those days when decisions have to be made. You know that you have the free Live On The Green concert going on tonight downtown with Alabama Shakes, Apache Relay, and Fly Golden Eagle (more on that later). You also have The Walkmen with Woods going on over at Mercy Lounge. Your decision isn’t that easy though… The Sheepdogs and Black Box Revelation are playing over at Exit/In as well tonight.
We were beside ourselves excited when The Sheepdogs hopped on the bill for a New Faces Nite over at The Basement back in January. This is after they were the first unsigned band ever to be featured on the cover of Rolling Stone. Throw in their new record, which was produced by Pat Carney of The Black Keys, that just released on Atlantic Records on September 4th of this year, and it has been a hell of a run for these Canadian jammers.
You also get the pleasure of one of our 2011 Bonnaroo standouts, Black Box Revelation. Things get started around 9pm, and you can grab tickets for that one here.
