Ticket Giveaway: Starry Nights Festival

It’s still festival season around these parts, and we’ve got an especially good one with the 2-day hootenanny up in Bowling Green, KY.  BG locals, Cage The Elephant, are continuing their festival up there after a year off, and they are doing it with some serious gusto.  They’ve brought in a new management team, have lined up local vendors, and have handpicked a stellar lineup.  And, we are giving you the opportunity to win a pair tickets to the weekend!  To enter, simply send us an email.  We’ll pick a winner by Wednesday of next week (9/26) to give you plenty of time to find your camping gear.

Things get started on Friday evening around 9pm with a few local bands that are competing for slots, and then you get to run wild with Nashville’s Five Knives from midnight to 1am.  Things kick back off on Saturday mid-morning with Bad Cop, The Kingston Springs, Pujol, Space Capone, Wild Belle, Margot & The Nuclear So & So’s, The Whigs, Jeff The Brotherhood, Manchester Orchestra, Justin Townes Earle, Portugal. The Man, Sleeper Agent, Cage The Elephant, Moon Taxi, Mimosa, & Morning Teleportation.  You can check out the full schedule here.

Seriously, that is a solid one day line up for a festival.  You should find enjoyment in every hour of that day.  If that isn’t enough for you, the bands are going to play Capture The Flag with the fans, there is a pancake breakfast for ya, a glow in the dark frisbee golf course, a hammock haven, and lots of cold beer for ya.

So, just a reminder that you can enter to win tickets with an email… or, you can just buy a weekend pass for a mere $45.  All admission includes camping.  You can’t beat that price!  This is going to be a fun weekend, and will be a perfect warmup to Soundland in Nashville the following weekend.  Get out of town and see some live music next weekend.
