This weekend probably has a light schedule as far as Nashville goes, but you should still check out some live music if you can.

Friday

As Matt already mentioned in his post titled More National Love for the Nashville Rock Scene, the Turbo Fruits are playing their “Butter” record release show at Exit In with Ranch Ghost, King Karl, and Fox Fun. Doors at 8 pm, General Admission $8 if you pre-order or $10 on the day of the show. You can get a ticket and the “Butter” CD for $13 and a ticket and the “Butter” Vinyl for $18. Get tickets here.

Saturday

There are some good outdoor music events going on. A slew of artists including Matthew Perryman Jones, Marie Hines, Goodbye June, & The Allen Thompson Band, Effron White (acoustic), Jeff Blaney (acoustic), & Kate Tucker (acoustic) will be playing Musician’s Corner at Centennial Park starting at 3 pm and ending at 6pm. This event is free.

Hacienda is playing a free in-store performance at Grimey’s at 5 pm. See Sunday’s show listing for another Hacienda show.

If you wish to check out some more outdoor music, Luella & The Sun, Wildcub, and Snakeyez will be playing at Sevier Park as part of the 12th South Concert Series from 6pm to 10 pm. Also a free event.

The Lonely H, Quiet Company, Magnolia Sons, Kate Tucker & Michael Shepard are playing the 5 Spot. $5 Cover and starts at 9 pm. The Facebook event page can be found here.

Sunday

You’ve got the Sunday School weekly music series with Montezuma Fire Machine & Remerra at Exit In. Starts at 7 pm and it’s free.

Also, Hacienda, Teitur and Young Hines are playing at 3rd and Lindsley. Doors at 6 and show starts at 7. Check out Matt’s previous post about winning tickets to the show and a copy of Hacienda’s newest record “Shakedown.”  $10 cover. You can also get tickets to the show here.
