Spiritualized covers JJ Cale

This is not really blog worthy because it happened over 20 years ago.  However, I just heard it for the first time the other day, and it was stuck in my head all weekend.  Back in 1991, a very young Spiritualized dropped their rendition of JJ Cale’s “Call Me The Breeze” in a single titled “Run”.

Check it out below, and you’ll see why it’s been stuck in my head for three straight days now.

It must be back on someone’s radar. I just heard it for the first time on SiriusXM’s XMU. I knew it was familiar but I remember it from Lynryd Synryd’s cover of Call Me the Breeze. Still running in my head… 🙂
