Have you heard about the IFC program Portlandia?  The show stars Saturday Night Live star Fred Armisen and former Sleater-Kenney and current Wild Flag star Carrie Brownstein, and it’s a pretty hysterical show that clowns on the hipster world that we are embattled in everyday.   Well, they are taking their show on the road with Portlandia: The Tour, and they will be stopping by Nashville’s Marathon Music Works this winter. I’ve attached a clip of the show called “Wanna Come To My DJ Night” below.  It’s totally worth 3:43 of your life.

The times and dates for this one are confusing as ever.  MMW noted on twitter that it will be on February 25th from 4am to 7am, they note on the event facebook page it’s happening on Friday February 24th from Noon to 3pm.  I think ticketing partner Ticketfly probably has it right with the show happening on Friday February 24th starting at 8pm (doors at 7pm).  Tickets are a hipster stretch at $30, and you can grab them from Ticketfly here starting on Thursday Jan. 12th at 10am CST.
