I posted last weekend about the Sigur Ros teaser video that was circulating the internet and prompting all sorts of speculation.  Pitchfork has since reported that Sigur Ros will be releasing a live album and a live concert video from the last show that they performed in 2008 (it better just be a hiatus) in London’s Alexandra Palace.  The show was filmed by Vincent Morisset (also did Arcade Fire’s Miroir Noir), and he did it with several different filming styles which should be a pretty artsy type of concert film.

The film will be premiered at the Venice Film Festival on September 3rd.  The rest of us, who weren’t invited to Venice, will be able to pick it up in November 2011.

Again, the teaser trailer is below.
