Are you already worried about your post-Soundland music hangover?  Well, you know that the best remedy for a hangover is a little “hair of the dog that bit ya”.  So, you should dance your blues away on Monday September 26th at Nashville’s Mercy Lounge with New York based electronic-y, artsy, crunkster band Gang Gang Dance.  Tickets for this show go on sale today at 10am.

These guys have been around since 2001, but have really started moving to the front of the collective music consciousness since moving to UK based label 4AD in 2010.  You can hear lots of influences in the music from guys like Animal Collective to MIA.  The former even chose Gang Gang Dance to perform at All Tomorrows Parties festival, which was curated by Animal Collective in May 2011.  This weekend they are actually headlining a Block Party festival at New York City’s South Street Seaport.

So, get out for a chance to see this band-on-the-rise, and to cure your music hangover.  I’m sure you can figure out a way to cure your “I partied too much during Soundland hangover” at the same time.  Tickets are $12 in advance, and they go on sale at 10am today (Friday July 29).

A few tracks are below for you to check out.
