Bonnaroo headliners, The Arcade Fire, are planning to keep riding the flame of the 2010 record of the year, The Suburbs, with the release of a deluxe edition containing two new tracks on June 27th. They also have a Spike Jonze directed film “Scenes From The Suburbs” in the works. You’ll have to wait for the film, but you can get a quick listen to a couple of radio rips of the two new tracks (Speaking in Tongues and Culture War) by clicking HERE. Speaking in Tongues includes a cameo by David Byrne of Talking Heads. I dig the album (as did most of the rest of world), so it isn’t surprising that I am equally stoked about a couple of new tracks.
