Nashville singer-songwriter, Bobby Bare Jr. has shared a new single, “The Beginning of the End,” which will appear on the Don’t Follow Me (I’m Lost) soundtrack, out July 31st through Bloodshot Records. The soundtrack was scored to accompany his documentary, released in 2012 and soon to be released widely online. The film follows the Americana legacy on tour and features the likes of his father (Bobby Bare Sr.), Justin Townes Earle and My Morning Jacket. The full soundtrack will feature lots of live performances, one of which was recorded in Nashville’s own The Basement.
The stripped down track gives off a sentimental vibe with acoustic guitar and notes of violin. It’s a great preview into the intimacy of the film, and a peek into how great the full soundtrack will be. The soundtrack is available for pre-order and the documentary is streaming on select websites. Check it out below!
