The Weeks Debut New Lyric Video for Old Single, “Buttons”

While O.G. fans of Nashville (by way of Mississippi) southern rockers The Weeks might vividly remember “Buttons” as the breakout single that helped the group first nab national attention way back in ’08, with their full-length release of Comeback Cadillac, it stands to reason that the band may have won over many new fans with their subsequent releases, RumspringaGutter Gaunt Gangster, and Dear Bo Jackson, who never had a chance to be turned onto it. As bands occasionally do, the group have decided to dust off their old hit, and give it a new polish, re-releasing the single with a subsequent lyric video, which you can hear below. We’re not sure if it’s set for inclusion on any futures releases, but we’re happy to hear an old song brought back for new ears. Listen/watch below.
