It was only last year that local country outcast Margo Price broke through to national acclaim with her solo debut, the phenomenal Midwest Farmer’s Daughter, and only a few months ago that she followed it up with a surprise new EP, Weakness. And, yet, not one to slack off, Price is already prepping to release her sophomore LP, the recently announced All American Made, next Friday, Oct. 20, once again through Third Man Records. Consciously exploring broader musical realms than the raucous, revivalist sound of her debut with more modern influences, and moving beyond the deeply personal and confessional themes to include broader subject matter and social commentary, All American Made is another triumph for country’s latest anti-establishment success story (and, as we know, one of the hardest working performers in Nashville for over a decade), and certainly one of the best local releases (and best releases, period), to arrive this year.

Though it’s still officially a few days away, the good folks at NPR Music recently made All American Made available to stream early, and you can check it out now right here. Even more exciting? Margo has announced a Grimey’s in-store performance to celebrate! While Bully will be dropping by on release day, Margo’s appearance is slated a few days earlier, on Tuesday, Oct. 17, at 6 p.m., with a record signing to follow. As with most high-profile in-stores, you can drop by the shop in person (or over the phone beginning Monday morning) to pre-order Margo’s new LP on vinyl, deluxe vinyl, or CD, where you’ll receive a wristband guaranteeing a spot. If the wristbands sell out, only those with one will be admitted, but if not, spaces are first come, first served to anyone without. Those with pre-orders will receive their copy on Tuesday, ahead of release!

Revisit Margo’s recent video for “Weakness,” which is both the title track of a her recent EP as well as a track on All American Made, below!
