Things have been a bit quiet from local psychedelic soul trio SIMO since we caught them last fall at Live on the Green, so it’s especially exciting that the group have just announced a homecoming show April 14 at The Basement East, where they’ll be previewing their highly-anticipated forthcoming album. If you’re not familiar, but you love everything that made the ’60s and ’70s rock, this trio is for you, and if you haven’t seen them live, their fantastic show and the guitar work of frontman JD Simo make them a local staple that you must witness in person. Tickets go on sale this Thursday, Feb. 23 at 10 a.m. CST right here, and we’ll have more details as the show approaches.
