The Growlers, The Vacant Lots, and Kingston Springs | Exit/In | Tonight In Nashville

It’s a Monday night, and you aren’t watching football tonight.  It’s time for you to get out and see some live music, and we have just the suggestion for you tonight.

Hailing from the beach town of Dana Point in Southern California, The Growlers are the epitome of California rock and roll.  Their first two releases make me feel like I just stumbled upon some great 60’s rock and roll from my parent’s stacks.  It’s just that damn good.  Have a listen to their first two releases Are You In Or Out? (2009) and Hot Tropics (2010) below, and you’ll see what I’m talking about.  This will get you ready for their newest record Hung At Heart which is due out on January 22, 2013, but you may be able to snag it at the merch table tonight.

Things get started at 9pm with the spaced-out psych rockers The Vacant Lots and our pals The Kingston Springs.  You can have a listen to the 7-inch High & Low from The Vacant Lots below.  Down there at the very bottom is the bluegrass version of The Kingston Springs “Lowest Of Animals” shot on location in sunny Colorado.  Grab your tickets to Monday night fun right here, and get out to see some live music.
