Philly transplant Ron Gallo has certianly sent a ripple in the Music City pond since relocating to the east side a couple of years ago. Gallo, who got his start as the frontman for Toy Soldiers, set out on his own to explore his musical path. He mixed blues, punk, and country into a swirling, fuzzed out wall of rock, and his live show has garnered acclaim from most in the local rock scene. On the heels of the announcement that his long awaited record, Heavy Meta, will be released via New West Records on Feb. 3, Gallo dropped a music video for the track “Young Lady, You’re Scaring Me.” The video, which was filmed in Nashville, features some familiar faces, and depicts Gallo leading a wedding band where the sugar rushed kids are the only ones seemingly having any fun. Head below to see why Heavy Meta is one of our more anticipated releases of next year.
