mewithoutYou, Into It. Over It. to Play Mercy Lounge Oct. 23

While you’ve certainly had numerous chances to see both Philadelphia indie/art rock outfit mewithoutYou and seminal Chicago emo rockers Into It. Over It. in Nashville in recent years, the two beloved acts have never performed here together, and certainly make for a most epic pairing. The former are still celebrating the release of last year’s Pale Horses, while the latter, essentially a solo vehicle for prolific performer Evan Weiss, just released his third LP Standards back in March. Teaming up for a short run of fall dates, mwY and IIOI will play Mercy Lounge on Oct. 23. Needle Points have been tapped to open, and tickets will go on sale this Friday, July 29 at 10 a.m. CDT right here.
