LA-based skate punks FIDLAR have been a must see show for us since they first stopped into Music City back in 2013. They’ve come a long way since then, with multiple rowdy returns to Nashville since, and a recent mind-blowing in the Friday afternoon heat at Bonnaroo. Fresh off that performance, they have announced a fall 2016 North American tour, which includes a return to Mercy Lounge on Nov. 8, where they played their first local show. SWMRS and The Frights are tapped to support.
The tour announcement also comes along with a new video for the beloved single “Punks” from their outstanding 2015 sophomore full length, Too. The video was created in collaboration with The Flaming Lips in their art space, “The Womb,” and features a kid unsuccessfully navigating his way through a surreal dystopian society.
