Hangout2015-Temporary

Kicking off the festival announcement season astonishingly early (seriously y’all, can we at least get through the holidays?), Gulf Shores, Alabama’s Hangout Music Festival just made a surprise announcement of their entire (or at least close to entire) 2016 lineup this morning, before most regional events have even launched pre-sales. The annual, beachfront event returns May 20-22, and this year’s installment features a diverse bill, headed up by The Weeknd, Calvin Harris, Florence + the Machine, Alabama Shakes, Ellie Goulding, and Lenny Kravitz. The rest of the top billed acts, and, especially, the undercard lineup, really run the gamut of rap, EDM, rock, pop, country, and indie, and, per usual, a healthy stable of Nashville-based artists have made the cut, including Cage the Elephant, Jason Isbell, Moon Taxi, Judah & the Lion, Bully, Muddy Magnolias, and Koa!

Weekend tickets for Hangout Fest go on sale this Thursday, Nov. 19 at 10 a.m. CST, and include a variety of options and payment plans. Find out more here, and peep the full lineup and watch a new teaser video below!
