Earlier this summer, we told you that progressive/experimental rockers The Dear Hunter were prepping to release a new album, Act IV: Rebirth in Reprise, and will play Exit/In on Oct. 9 with CHON and Gates in support (grab tickets here)! The highly anticipated LP, which drops this Friday, Sept. 4, continues a series of concept albums which the Casey Crescenzo-led band started between 2006 and 2009, before venturing off to craft a color-inspired series of EPs and a standalone album. Along with the album and tour announcement, The Dear Hunter released a first taste of Act IV; a new single called “A Night on the Town.” Since then, the band have treated us to “Waves” and “Wait,” and, now, just ahead of the album’s debut, the progressive group have given us one more track to tide us over; sweeping, eclectic, dramatic single “The Squeaky Wheel.” Listen below!
