Back in June, we announced that Canadian dance punk duo Death From Above 1979 were set to perform at Third Man Records’ famous Blue Room on July 16, returning after a Marathon Music Works outing last fall. However, a week before the show, which, unsurprisingly, had promptly sold out, the group were forced to cancel due to visa and immigration issues. At the time, the venue and band indicated that they hoped to reschedule, and, a few weeks back, the new date was revealed to be Sept. 30. While the event is still officially sold out as of now, Third Man promises to update ticket availability in mid-September, in the event of refunds due to the date change.

While you wait to find out whether or not you might get a second chance to snag a spot for what’s sure to be one of the coolest shows of the year, you can check out the group’s brand new music video for “White Is Read,” a track from last year’s The Physical World. Their second full-length and first in almost exactly a decade, the album arrived a couple years after the seminal band first started flirting with performing live once more (and, at their admittance, was made in something of an effort to satiate fan demand). The video is made up of live footage from documentary film Life After Death From Above 1979, which “tells the story of the rise, fall and rebirth of Death From Above 1979, and how music shaped their tumultuous decade-long friendship.” You can purchase the film here, and watch “White Is Red” below!
