This has been a busy week for Toro y Moi. We already told you earlier this year about his show at Exit/In on May 10 and shared some of his new songs, and, now, we’ve got even more new material for you. Yesterday Chaz B. released the video for his first single “Empty Nesters” AND dropped a new single called “Run Baby Run,” both of which you can check out after the jump.
After listening to the first few tracks from Toro y Moi’s upcoming record What For?, it’s pretty clear that we can expect a more upbeat, rock sound than his previous efforts, but the songs still have that dreamy tone to them that we know and love. Check out the trippy, home-movie style video for “Empty Nesters” below.
