Nashville-based band The Campaign 1984 was selected as one of 20 winners by Slash to open for him in his upcoming tour thanks to a contest run by Guitar Center. At the end of the 20 date tour, Slash will pick his favorite of the 20 acts to win about $15,000 in gear from Guitar Center, Gibson, Epiphone, and more…
You can have a listen below to The Campaign 1984’s Sessions below. I gave it a bit of my time, and, while it might not be my cup of tea, I can see my Slash would be all over it. Just like I probably would have been in 1984. Regardless, congrats to these local musicians, and do your best to shred the hell out of The House of Blues in New Orleans tomorrow night.
