More National Love For The Nashville Rock Scene

Both the Washington Examiner and The Huffington Post piled on the accolades for Nashville’s rock scene yesterday.  Of course, citing the ever-present Jack White, Black Keys, KOL influence to start, they finished by rounding out a great run down of local rockers like JEFF the Brotherhood, Turbo Fruits, The Features, PUJOL, Natural Child, Heavy Cream, Diarrhea Planet, The Weeks, & D. Watusi.  These guys are just the norms on the block for most of us, but the continued national attention is going to continue expand our burgeoning rock empire.

The next show that you can see in town should be on your weekend calendar for sure.  Turbo Fruits are throwing a little record release party for their new LP Butter over at Exit/In with Ranch Ghost, King Karl, and Fox Fun on Friday night.  It’s definitely going to be a fun filled rock and roll kind of night, so prep yourself accordingly.  While prepping you should check out that spotify player with Butter below.

Tickets are $8 advance, $10 at the door, $13 with a CD, and $18 for some sweet vinyl.  Things get started around 8ish.
