Def Leppard to Play Bridgestone Arena Aug. 18

Def Leppard

Continuing what has been fairly active several years (which brought them to Nashville last summer on a co-headliner with Kiss), English hard rock pioneers Def Leppard have announced an Aug. 18 return to Music City, for a performance at Bridgestone Arena with Styx and Tesla. Essentially still intact with their most famous lineup (how many ’80s bands can say that?), Def Leppard are, arguably, one of the best acts to emerge during the “hair metal” area, and their classic albums, namely Pyromania and Hysteria, remain some of the best rock records of all time. Sure, they haven’t pumped out anything new or relevant in decades, but they don’t need to; they’re here to play the hits, and if that’s what you want to hear, grab your tickets beginning Friday, Feb. 20 at 10 a.m. CST (or through various pre-sales a day sooner).
