Nashville resident rock star Jack White recently released his latest Lazaretto single, “Would You Fight for My Love?” as a 7″, and, along with it, unveiled a new b-side: a cover of Dean Fertita’s “Parallel.” Aside from being a full-time member of The Dead Weather and a touring member of The Raconteurs, White’s two prominent side projects, Fertita, who is also a member of Queens of the Stone Age, was recently tapped to fill-in on keyboards for White’s solo tour, following the tragic and sudden death of Ikey Owens. “Parallel” comes from Dean’s 2009 solo debut, Hello=Fire, and, in White’s version, gets a rootsy makeover. Listen below!
Also, as we previously announced, Jack is set to perform at Bridgestone Arena on Jan. 28, and tickets are on sale now.
