Nashville (via Mississippi) southern garage rockers The Weeks stopped by the offices of The A.V. Club to participate in the latest installment of the site’s “Undercover” series, which challenges bands to choose a cover from an ever-shrinking list of tracks (meaning the later in the season you perform, the stranger the choices). In something of an ode to their adopted home stage, and out of desire to pick a track out of left field, The Weeks opted to tackle “Tennessee,” a popular ’90s hit from alt hip hop/r&b group Arrested Development. Watch the results below, and be sure to catch the boys Dec. 6 at Marathon Music Works for Lightning 100’s annual Festivus showcase. Details here.
